We had another great Festival!

Thank you to all who visited, we hope you had a good time. And our heartfelt thanks go to the stallholders and speakers who made it such a wonderful event.

The weather held up, all the stalls laid out over the lawns looked fabulous and everyone who came seemed to be having a good time, at least judging by the full carrier bags, the childrens' painted faces and smiles all round.

We will get the website updated over the next few days, in the meantime please make use of the information on the stallholders page if you want to follow up any of the contact you made on the day.

We will get some photos and a video posted soon.

Aeep your eyes peeled for next year's event!

Our theme this year is
Gardening for Wellbeing

Gardens are a constant source of joy and pleasure as well as offering many physical benefits. Just 30 minutes in the garden can burn as many calories as an aerobic exercise. Gardening has the all round, mind, body and spirit, feel good factor!

Terry and Richard

We are delighted to see the return of Terry Walton, ‘Allotment Doctor’ from BBC Radio 2’s Jeremy Vine's Show and Richard Fishbourne of Bugs and Beasties. They will be opening our Festival on Saturday, and you will be able to meet them during their discussion seminar too.

Brigit Strawbridge

One of our favourite key speakers is Brigit Strawbridge from BBC2's 'It's Not Easy Being Green'; she will tell us all about social and solitary bees and how we can help them out through a difficult time.

Don't miss the launch event of Dr Sasha Norris' NatureBook - an on-line treasure trove of people's expressions of love for nature. Bring along your visual or poetic treasures, or collect things that inspire you at the Festival - leaves, feathers, moss, flowers, or your favourite snaps - or drop in and use the materials supplied to make a lovely artwork. All ages welcome.

See the Speakers Page for more information on our other guests.

Last year’s Festival attracted more than 2,500 visitors who enjoyed over 72 exhibitors, informative and engaging talks, local and organic lunches and teas, a beautiful setting, ambient music, imaginative children’s activities and much more.

We look forward to meeting you.
