Talks at the stands
Wynnes of Dinmore
Call at the stand for useful advise and information on chicken
keeping for the smallholder – on the hour every hour.
Wynnes will have a variety of poultry housing and various hen-keeping
equipment on display as well as some of their free range hens.
Guided walk
Dr Val Cooper of Natural England will be leading
a guided walk to the SSSI wood at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. She
is a renowned expert in the study of SSSI woods and natural England.
People wishing to attend can book at the information
tent and then congregate at the large iron gates in front
of the terrace and lawns, overlooking the meadow, at 1.50 pm. Start
time of the walk to be at 2pm and will last approximately 1.5hrs.
Appropriate footwear is advisable.
